Hello, My wife and I were watching TV last month when your Life Begins at 17 movie came on the TCM channel (October 15th). Googled your name and found this website. Great website and good for you for staying active. You are right, nothing has changed for teenagers, they all go through the same things growing up.
PS... We bought your book for our grandchild Saul who will be turning 17 next year. Thanks for the great memories and good luck with your book. |

| I remember my mom speaking of you and shirley often, we loved uncle gus and I remember visiting oregan once. My mom was gloria garrison, love your pictures. If you would like to see some photos of the continued beauty that runs strong through the garrison/johnson lines let me know and I will send you pics. my grandaughters will be 17 one day and i would like to purchase your book for them. If you would be so kind to autograph it, i would appreciate it. Their great grandmother gloria died too young and was never able to tell them about you. Also if you have any childhood memories of her to share that would be great. We live in rural superior, and i would like them to know what is possible. The town's general attitude has not changed much. I have had the opportunity to work on a few movies as a animal handler. Got an education on the movie bussiness. Hello...I just ordered your book after my mom (Judy Staupe) sent me your email. I guess we are related. I don't have kids but I married into kids so I am giving the book to Olivia who is 13 but acts 17. You seem like a very fun and interesting person who is having a great life!!
